Speak the language of manufacturing
To help you understand the common terms associated with manufacturing, we’ve put together a glossary.
Commitment to sustainability
We have converted our 210,000 square foot manufacturing facility to be 100% solar powered. The resulting environmental impact equates to:
- A reduction of 157,953 pounds of coal burned a year
- 162,627 fewer gallons of gasoline used per year
- 1,700 acres of U.S. forests saved per year
- 184,345,200 smartphones charged per year
The Safe Quality Food Program certifies facilities that have established a sound food quality program. The PetDine production facility has earned SQF certification based on the comprehensive food safety and quality management system we have in place at our facility.
Part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) protects animal health, animal welfare, and plant health. All products that are shipped internationally must go through APHIS. PetDine has extensive experience in this area, and we can help you should you decide to take your products international.
Our membership in the American Feed Industry Association, an organization devoted to elevating the U.S. animal food industry and its suppliers, enables us to keep our pulse on the industry and help you stay ahead of important trends. AFIA is active in Washington, DC, so they play a vital role in getting pet health-related initiatives in front of the federal government.
As members of the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC), we strive to implement profitable environmental and social practices, including the use of sustainable ingredients and packaging, into all aspects of our business.
